Who Do You Say I Am?

Dark mustang with peaceful eyes
Still has a fire inside,
Firefly, spiderweb, rose,
Stronger than anyone knows,
Gracefulness personified, dove of peace,
A horse waiting for release,
A book with a deeper meaning,
The rainy day for dreaming,
The sparkling sky of night,
Someone who brings delight—
This is who I’m told I am,
But who do You say I am?
Do I bring peace wherever I go?
Do I let a bright flame show?
Do I balance strength and grace?
Do I hold an influential place?
Is ambition part of who I am?
Do I carry dreams inside my hands?
Do I go deeper than the surface?
All You say to me is this:
“You are this and so much more.
You are one I adore.
You are my daughter. You are mine.
And I will love you for the rest of time.”

You are passion with a fire burning deep inside of you.
You have the ability to do anything that you try to do.
You exude tremendous love,
As you live the life of a peaceful dove.
You are gentle, you are kind, but you will fight,
With all your might,
For what your believe is right.
God is your Father, you are His daughter, so dear.
With Him, you will never have anything to fear.
He will always be near,
Stop, and sit in silence, and His Voice you will hear.
You are my great niece,
And your poem gives me peace,
Because it comes from your heart.
And it shows your life is off to a great start.
Love it! Great job!
