Rainy Weather

Maybe the rain’s falling outside

And the tears are falling inside

And you aren’t even sure if you can make

it through

But I’m telling you it’s okay to not be okay

As the weather changes by the day

So things may not always seem okay

But as every type of weather has its place in the world

So every thing shapes you to who you are

Take the time when the sun is out

Or even when the rain just isn’t there

To make a covering of joy and courage and love

The kind that will get you through the rain

Next time the rain is falling

Inside or outside or anywhere

Find your covering made of all the colors of hope

And walk through the shower into the sun again
