Tears

Where do our tears go when we cry them out? Does it matter whether they are happy, scared, or sad? Do they just fall from our faces to the ground and disappear back into the water cycle? Or does something special happen to our tears? Supposedly, the tears of mermaids become sea glass, so is it possible our tears could serve a purpose as beautiful as this? Could our tears serve a greater purpose than simply release of the various emotions raging inside our souls?
Maybe our tears become the treasures of another race. Perhaps for another universe our tears are as magical as those of a unicorn. Perhaps they can heal any wound of any kind. The tears that fall from our wounded hearts could be what saves the life of another.
Maybe our tears are collected by tiny invisible fairies who use to power a great underground society. Perhaps they build bridges and walls or grow food and water animals. The tears pouring from those of us who feel too much could make another’s life livable.
Maybe our tears fall and are solidified into a great mirror that sparkles with the light of a hundred thousand souls. Perhaps people can look into that mirror and see the face of every person who ever cried. The tears from our overflowing hears could be what shows another they were never alone.
Where do our tears go when we cry them out? They go into everything we touch. Our tears go into our writings, our art, and our music. Our tears go into our work, our school, and every person we see. Our tears can save, sustain, and sympathize if we let them. Our tears go wherever they must for us to change the world.
WOW! I guess I will never again use a handkerchief or tissues when I cry. I will just let them fall to the ground and do their magic!
