Gold-In Mattress

"Luke, should we go to the mattress store and jump on some mattresses?" asked Matthew.

"Sure," replied Luke.

Creak went the door. Luke and Matthew started jumping on a mattress when Matthew saw the mattress rip, and he saw gold.

The manager started chasing the kids. He caught Matthew. Matthew yelled, "He has gold!" but Luke couldn't hear over the yelling.

Later, the manager locked Matthew in a closet. The manager closed the shop and forgot about Matthew. Matthew got out and called the police.When the police got there, they asked Matthew why he called. Matthew replied, "The manager is a thief."

"How do you know?" asked the police.

"Come look at the mattress," said Matthew.

"I see nothing," replied the police.

Matthew pulled out a box filled with gold and jewels. The newt day, the manager came back and the police asked for the mattress that had the gold. The manager said no, but the police said, "GIVE IT TO ME!" The manager got the mattress and all the gold came out.

The manager got sent to jail.
